Howard Liggett

Howard Liggett is a sucessful investor specializing in bulk tax lien certificate purchases, tax deed and mortgage foreclosure acquisitions. He also serves as Executive Director for the National Tax Lien Association.

He began his real estate investing journey in 1973. He sold his first parcel and received a nice return on his investment.

With 35 years in real estate investing and advisement, Mr. Liggett has vast experience and knowledge in tax lien investing. The most important suggestion Mr. Liggett shares is "Newton's First Law: A body at rest tends to stay at rest while a body in motion tends to stay in motion. He says, "the bottom line is keep moving and laways move FORWARD."

Mr. Liggett believes the most important quality someone needs to be successful in real estate is tenacity and a "Rocky Balboa" mindset. Never give up no matter the obstacle.

Howard Liggett has 22 years experience in the public sector as a Real Estate Tax Administrator in Florida local government. He also served as a real estate acquisitions consultant to institutional investors including SunTrust Bank and TransAm Financial. He has been Executive Director of the National Tax Lien Association since 1999.
