Nechelle Vanias

Nechelle Vanias is an active full time real estate investor, having completed nearly 400 real estate transactions since 2005. Today, she has expanded her company to include residential and commercial development as well as a busy education business with the purpose of teaching others how to create financial security and accomplish wealth through real estate investing.

Nechelle always had a love for real estate. She grew up in New York City and loved to walk along the streets and look at the architecture. She caught the real estate investing bug when she bought her first home with her husband. She recognizes the great opportunity in real estate and made a decision to combine her two great loves; real estate and business (and the business of making money!)

Ordering study guides from other real estate educators, attending seminars and reading, posting and responding to online message boards are some of the ways Nechelle learned the real estate ropes. She sought out mentors and partners to learn from and did a lot of "on the job" training.

Ms. Vanias realized after a few deals that she had a real knack for finding good deals for maximum profit. Her initial goal was to build positive cash flow so her and her husband did not have to work and could cover their bills with their rental income. After gaining experience and knowledge, she wanted to pass what she learned to other investors and teach them the same method that worked for her so well.

Nechelle believes real estate investing requires a great deal of stamina. She thinks that real is not a sprint, but a marathon and investors need to hang in there because not every deal is going to work out. But if you have the stamina to keep moving forward, you will have a positive and profitable experience.

Too often people stay on the sidelines thinking about what they could've, should've and would've done. Nechelle advises investors to "just do it." The best thing to do is "to do something and do it now!"

A self-subscribed visionary, Nechelle developed a new media firm that created internet solutions for clients such as Citibank and Microsoft. She maintained that same entrepreneurial spirit in launching her real estate investment and development company, First Lady Holdings, LLC. Her business skills as both an investor and an entrepreneur are widely recognized throughout the community. Sharing her techniques and strategies with both national and international investors has helped to launch many profitable real estate portfolios for her clients.

Mrs. Vanias' business savvy and public speaking ability have also garnered media attention as she has appeared on CNN: Sonia Live and NBC's The Morning Show. She has also appeared twice in Black Enterprise magazine and was featured in Donald Trump’s latest book "Think Big and Kick A$$ - In Business and In Life."

She can be heard at speaking engagements throughout the US. Whether at real estate expos or conferences, she always imparts to her audience knowledge coupled with a sincere desire to help others prosper.

Nechelle is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, is married with five children and currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
